FAQ's

How would you describe your style?

Natural. Discreet. Intimate. Unobtrusive. There will be no forced poses (unless of course you want them!) or demands to endlessly smile. You can rest assured that I will be thorough, but as a general rule the less you notice me the better.

Which areas do you cover?

Any and all. Whilst I’m based in the South West (Devon-Cornwall border), I am happy to travel further afield if you so require (I’ve previously gone as far as Washington DC – see Georgia and Dave). Get in touch if you’d like to discuss something more exotic.

How many photos do you take on the day?

There is no limit. I’d typically take well over a thousand, which I would then edit down during post-production. You can typically expect at least 250+ fully edited, beautiful shots in your final package.

Can we meet you before our wedding to talk through our plans?

Of course. I’d strongly recommend that we have a chat about your plans and what you’d like from me long before the day. If we happen to be close by, I’d suggest we meet in person. Or if distance makes that impractical, we can set up a video call.

How long do we get you for on the day?

There is no hard limit. I’ll typically be there from bridal/groom prep right through to the evening’s shenanigans. Key from my perspective is that nothing feels rushed, and that I’m confident that I’ve captured every part of the day beautifully for you.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have full public liability insurance and can happily provide certification if requested.

Do we need to provide you with food/refreshments on the day?

I will assume not unless I’m told otherwise. Typically, I will aim to slip away briefly whilst you are sitting down for your meal, ensuring I return to capture a good part of that section of the day – and of course, the speeches.

Do you take formal / group / family photos?

Yes, absolutely. Whilst my overall style is natural, informal and discreet, this doesn’t mean that I don’t take more formal / group / family photos, which often form a really important part of the day.

We would typically discuss your wishes well in advance so I have a clear plan on the day and can ensure we get the right people together at the right time, with minimum fuss or hassle.

I hate having my photo taken! How can you help?!

As per above, my approach is friendly, discreet and informal. There will be no agonising poses or unnaturally staged awkwardness. In the vast majority of cases, you won’t even know I’m there. And when you do, I pride myself on making you feel – and look – relaxed and at ease.

Can you provide a wedding album?

Yes. I work with a company that provides UK-made, handcrafted and customisable albums made from the finest materials (gallery-quality fine art paper etc). Let me know if you think you might like one of these and we can discuss.

Can our friends and family purchase prints?

They won’t need to! As part of my core package, anyone you grant access to will be able to download from your private gallery all images from the day.

How do we secure you for our wedding?

First of all, get in touch for a chat and check that I'm available. If after that you’d like to proceed, pay a deposit (typically 25%), complete the booking form and we’re set!

If you like what you’ve seen, do please get in touch – I’d love to hear from you. Enter your details below and I’ll get back to you promtly.
